You are purchasing one (1) Honeywell Home THP9045A C-Wire Adapter. This item is new, has never been used and comes in the factory sealed retail packaging.

This product will allow you to self-install a Smart Thermostat Without a C-Wire. The C-Wire provides a path for continuous power to Wi-Fi thermostats, but often many homes are missing this common wire. The C-Wire Power Adapter makes Honeywell Home smart thermostats compatible with most homes that don’t have this wire. C-Wire Power Adapter quickly and easily powers connected thermostats that require a C-wire, which is a common requirement. Easy push terminals and an adhesive slide mount make installation quick and easy.

NOTE BEFORE PURCHASING: Check to see if the Wi-Fi thermostat you will pair with this adapter is compatible with your home and determine if your home needs a C-wire power adapter. The C-wire adapter should work for all applications in which the thermostat being replaced doesn't have a common wire and does have Y and G wires attached.

Simple adhesive mount allows you to attach the adapter to the outside or inside of your furnace.
COMPATIBLE WITH: Forced air (gas, oil or electric), hot water and steam, and heat pumps with electric backup. Does NOT work with electric baseboard heat (120-240V).
NOTE: The C-Wire Adapter will work with multi-stage systems including heat pumps if your Wi-Fi thermostat will work with these systems; however, please follow the installation directions carefully to avoid disconnecting incorrect wires.
